Back Stabbers

It was an awesome achievement. Back Stabbers set the tone and the standard for the spectacular success of Philadelphia International Records. Here was the recipe: genuine songs about love, pride and politics. Huge, complex productions by Gamble and Huff. Monumental musicianship from their house band, MFSB. And growling vocals by the explosiveEddie Levert, William Powell and Walter Willams. An album that speaks to the ages.
