Willie Colon Presents Ruben Blades – Metiendo Mano!
Craft 886 – re-issue 180g LP
The first collab album between Willie Coln and Rubn Blades, released in 1977, is a record that catapulted Blades to fame, and changed the history of salsa music with social narratives about the struggles of urban Latinos. Produced by Coln, it features Tite Curet Alonso’s “Plantacin adentro,” “Pablo Pueblo” penned by Blades, and “Segn el color” by Flix Hernandez. Featuring (AAA) lacquers cut from the original master tapes, this 180-gram vinyl reissue is an essential for Fania music lovers.
