Zappa Records 3855 – re-issue LP
Frank Zappa’s 1975 / 76 band, Zappa, wasZappa and Terry Bozzio the only consistent members throughout the sessions (despite the cover photo of a quartet), with Napoleon Murphy Brock, Roy Estrada, Ruth Underwood, Dave Parlato, Andre Lewis, and others. Captain Beefheart appears as Donnie Vliet on harmonica on two tracks. The album sold well as a result of the surprise (minor) send up hit of the then-current disco craze; Disco Boy, and the inclusion of one of Zappa’s most famous guitar workouts; Black Napkins.
Songs are:
Wind Up Working in a Gas Station
Black Napkins
The Torture Never Stops
Ms. Pinky
Find Her Finer
Friendly Little Fingers”
Wonderful Wino
Zoot Allures
Disco Boy
NEW SEALED re-issue LP – printed in Germany
