UndertonesThe Sin of PrideBMG- re-issue of their4th and final LP on limited editionPLUM vinyl
The 4th and final album by Ireland’s The Undertones, was released in March of 1983. The album takes much of its inspiration from soul music and Motown. Lead-singer Feargal Sharkey calls it his favorite album, yet just 4 months after the release of the album, and due to its commercial failure, the group disbanded. Critically, the album received positive reviews: AllMusic calling it”one of the great unsung albums of the early ’80s.”
