Super Joao
Domino 4 track EP
Super Joo is dedicated to Joo Gilberto, the Brazilian guitarist and singer who innovated Brazilian music in the late 50s in part by transposing Afro-Caribbean drum patterns to the right (fingerpicking) hand of the guitar. Super Joo is about beautiful and surprising chord progressions, longform melodies, and nylon string acoustic guitar. With intimate production and understated but deep songwriting, Super Joo is Life Is What Happens! quietly confident core.
