Willie Dixon Allstars |Label: Spoonful 777-26 |Format: 45 |Genre: Blues
Condition: Very Good Plus
A nice harmonica / guitar / piano driven song by Willie Dixon’s Chicago Blues All Stars “All Star Bougee” (with a nice bass solo by Dixon!) b/w “Good Time Baby” Willie Dixon & The Chicago Blues All Stars with McKenly Mitchell on vocals doing Good Time Baby on Willie Dixon’s label Spoonful. A nice 2 sided single. Would love to know who is on this side…it’s too early for Billy Branch, It’s most likely Sunnyland Slim on piano, or could be Lafayette Leake? since he has a writing credit on the instrumental side. If you have any info to pass on, we’d love to hear it. Check out this Sound Clip!
