NEW CD
Black Konflik Records
A compilation of demos by the Swedish obscure hardcore band ORAL, formerly Alf Svensson of GROTESQUE and AT THE GATES, this CD includes demos from 1987-1989/bonus tracks from 1986. Oral started in 1994 inspired by the British punk scene by bands such as DISCHARGE, CONFLICT, CRASS and more. The band was very underrated, pretty unknown even to many Swedes and rarely. This recording evolved as a band in 86-87 Swedish hardcore was starting to flirt with Death Metal and Crossover.
Raging Swedish hardcore obscurity! Complete demos 1987-1989 + bonus tracks 1986. Raw, full throttle hardcore mangel in pure Scandinavian tradition, recommended if you like ANTI CIMEX, TOTALITR, CRUDE SS, AVSKUM. Creating a hard-hitting atmosphere made of instantly catchy riffs, pounding drums with the unmistakable Swedish HC-beat formula and anger filled vocals reminding Tomas Jonsson at his finest. Featuring Alf Svensson (later in GROTESQUE and AT THE GATES)! Includes booklet with lyrics, photos from the time, liner notes written by the band and an old interview. ( F.O.A.D Records)
