Malt Soda Recordings
Snippet from the Phoenix New Times article The 10 Most Influential Punk Records of Arizona October 27, 2014 Fade to Black by Junior Achievement is arguably the most popular punk record to come out of this town, and definitely one of the most sought-after to possess on vinyl. For many years, from the mid-to-late 80s, it wasnt a party in Phoenix until this record got played. There is an element of punk/metal crossover here, which is why this particular slab of wax (later re-released on CD by AZPX records) has multiple layers of influence in the valley. Singer Jon Yousko was one of the scenes best lyricists and drummer Scott Chazan, well, wow. Just wow.
