Description
NEW LP
Formed in 1988 in Redwood City, California, Plutocracy are hands down one of the most iconic and unique names in West Coast powerviolence. Multi-vocals, angular riffing, neck-breaking tempo changes, rap inserts, noise grafts. All perfectly stitched together on a top tier grinding PowerViolence backbone. Recorded in 2010 and originally released in a scarcely circulated pressing very sought after by collectors, “Off the Pigs” is the last studio effort from this legendary unit, a bloodcurdling scream of street life, anti-authoritarian mindset and unrest mentality. Plutocracy defy the strictest definitions, a one-of-a-kind band that is impossible to pigeonhole, standing in the same category as Spazz, Crom, Agents Of Satan and No Le$$.F.O.A.D. Records
