The album was rebuilt from the multi-track tapes by David Kosten who says “Ibought A Secret Wish on the day it wasreleased in 1985 I still remember playing the vinyl and having a wonderfulkind of out-of-body experience on hearing Jewel for the first time. This wasmusic to be immersed in and inspired by, with vast creative ambition and endless sonic bravery”.
It’s Kosten’s new stereo mix from this rebuild process that features on this vinyl LP (he’s Atmos and 5.1 mixes features on the SDE exclusive blu-ray, available here).
