My Funny Valentine
Ermitage 12205
Trumpeter Chet Baker recorded for the Pacific Jazz label extensively in the 50’s. As a fluke, he recorded a vocal album in 1954 and became a vocal sensation. My Funny Valentine was a compilation album put together by Blue Note Records (the owners of Pacific Jazz Records) for the CD market in 1994 to highlight his vocal tracks of the 50’s. This is an import LP of that compilation. First Time on vinyl for this track listing. Essentialmusic by the great Baker.
