Chuck Prophet
Bobby Fuller Died For Your Sins
New West 2490 – 5th Anniversary edition on super limitedREDMARBLE vinyl

Chuck Prophet describes Bobby Fuller Died For Your Sins as California Noir. The state has always represented the Golden Dream, and it’s the tension between romance and reality that lurks underneath the surface in all noir films and paperbacks, and that connects these songs. Doomed love, inconsolable loneliness, rags to riches to rags again, and fast-paced violence are always on the menu on the Left Coast. NPR described it as, “like riding shotgun down some mythic highway with a rock true believer.” The album contains the songs, “Bad Year For Rock and Roll,” “Jesus Was A Social Drinker,” “Bobby Fuller Died For Your Sins,” and nine other worthy contributions to Chuck’s catalog The limited edition 5th Anniversary LP is pressed on cloudy red vinyl
