Considered to be one of the best live albums of all time, Donny Hathaway’s Live was recorded in 1971 at his shows at The Troubadour in Hollywood and The Bitter End in Manhattan. Including his beloved covers of “Jealous Guy and “What’s Going On,” along with his own hits like The Ghetto,” this album solidified Hathaway as a soul legend. In honor of Black History Month, this album has been cut from the original analog stereo master by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab and is pressed locally on 180 gram premium-quality vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing’s plant in Oxnard, California.
Launching as part of a new audiophile vinyl series, Rhino Reserves, offering legendary albums on 180-gram premium-quality black vinyl. Ensuring the highest audio quality, Rhino Reserve will be pressed locally at Fidelity Record Pressings brand-new plant in Oxnard, CA, and cut by renowned mastering engineer Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab. For these inaugural releases, however, the lacquers were cut by Chris Bellman, with the vinyl pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing.
