Led Zeppelin is one of the most successful, innovative and influential bands in the history of rock music. This concert captures the essence of early Led Zeppelin at its rawest and freshest. Because of their concert reputation, Zeppelin were always wary of how the media would package their image, trying to fit their songs into two minutes. This time radio gave them no restrictions and let them perform in front of a live audience to give the listeners a true concert experience. This live radio broadcast was recorded at the Playhouse Theatre in London, UK on June 27th, 1969.
