DOL 1270FC – import LP on limited BLUEcolored vinyl

In the early 1960s, Marie Laforet’s repertoire was released by the Festival label in both albums and 4-track EPs. This LP compiles three EPs from 1963. The first reflects her love for American folk, featuring covers of Bob Dylan’s “Blowin’ in the Wind”, “House of the Rising Sun”, and “Banks of the Ohio”. The other two EPs, include her signature hit “Les Vendanges de l’Amour”adaptations like “Mary Ann”, and finely orchestrated pop gems arranged by her favorite collaborator, Andre Popp. The Charm remains intact.
