D. Clinton Thompson was a member of the Swinging Medallions, who had the monster hit of the A side. He reprises it here with his Springfield MO cohorts, Lou Whitney, and Maralie, who also performed as The Morells in the 80s. Whitney’s studio and his engineering expertise have been first call for acts from Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Wilco, Redd Volkaert, Jonathan Richman, The Bottle Rockets, and many more. Thompson and Whitney also record and perform today as the Skeletons.
