Time For Action Records
THE PIKES pay again tribute to the true mod revival sound of the late 70s/ early 80s, featuring some 60s influences to a genuine Mod-Punk sound. Somethings going on is fast and wild. Its one stomper after another. The secret? A perfect harmony of pop hooks and catchy background vocals, put together with blazing guitar riffs, a vibrant bass and forceful drums. Staying real to the good old days they returned to the fully analogue Schaltraum Studio of Berlin and recorded the songs on dark brown Tascam tape.
So watch out for this platter and go get it Where The Action Is!
