Description
NEW LP
Heavy Soul Records
The first release of an entire set of recordings from 1980 – made at the same time the band recorded the iconic Mod Revival single “Scooter Boys”.
Smart Alec were a working R&B band around the Plymouth area and recorded the album at the height of the national Mod Revival.
A real find and a great set of songs that highlight the times and influences going around then.
Read the full story in issue 57 of Heavy Soul which has a big interview with Terry Locke – the singer / guitarist and song-writer for the band
