Stimulator Tracks Vol. 1
Star Creature 1257 – 4 track 12″ single
It’s fitting that this STONES THROW alum would tap STAR CREATURE for his next release. Coming off several incredible albums ranging from hip hop to jazz-funk and all sorts of in between fusions for arguably one of the most influential “underground” labels of last couple decades, STIMULATOR JONES gives us a taste of what’s hopefully to be a series of 12s. Part FINGERS INC, part TEN CITY, and part ARMANDO. A bit of acid, deep, atmospheric and soulful that fits somewhere between raw DJ tools and well produced EP material, sure to sound slamming on the dance-floor.
