On Jupiter
Strut 476 – import LP

A cosmic fusion of deep funk, interstellar jazz, and avant-garde soundscapes, On Jupiter stands as one of Sun Ras most iconic releases. Recorded in 1979 during a prolific period at Variety Arts Studios in New York, this album captures the Arkestra at the height of their creative powers, blending futuristic improvisation with infectious rhythms and otherworldly textures.
Classic album taken from Sun Ras NYC recordings (1978- 1982), where he frequently gathered his core Arkestra members and rotating musicians for near-daily, all-night recording marathons.
Featuring original Saturn Records artwork, housed in a deluxe hard sleeve. Featuring new liner notes from Arkestra saxophonist Knol Scott and Ra expert Paul Griffiths.
Remastered by Technology Works.

Tracks are;
On Jupiter
UFO
Seductive Fantasy (all of side 2)
