Talking Heads
Live in Tokyo 1979
DBQP 87 – 2 LP import

Live at Nippon Senenkan, Tokyo, Japan, July 20, 1979.

Recorded just weeks before their 3rd album was released (Aug 3rd), many FEAR OF MUSIC tracks were performed, giving the audience a sneak peak into what was to come. This live recording of the original Talking Heads line-up makes full use of the surviving soundboard sections, and the missing parts are fully supplemented with a super good audience recording. After the sixth track, the applause gradually spreads from left to right, and the second half of the show is a wonderful edit with stereo sound. A must-have collection.
