Description
Technics SL-1200GME (Master Edition) is the final, limited-run version of the SL-1200G lineagebuilt for listeners who want the classic 1200 feel with reference-grade engineering. This edition adds a premium gold design treatment (logo/serial plate + gold tonearm) and pairs it with Technics latest motor control and vibration-control work for cleaner rotation and lower noise.
What makes the Master Edition different
- Limited worldwide run: Silver SL-1200GME (1,200 units) and Black SL-1210GME (1,210 units), each with a serial number plate.
- Gold accents done right: gold Technics logo + serial plate and a gold-finished magnesium tonearm.
- -Drive motor control: suppresses motor vibration for smoother, more accurate rotation.
Key engineering highlights
- Twin-rotor coreless direct drive motor designed for stable rotation and reduced minute vibrations.
- Anti-vibration build: three-layer platter + four-layer cabinet construction to reduce resonance and feedback.
- GEL/high-damping insulators to help control external vibration and acoustic feedback.
- Magnesium tonearm + precision bearings for high sensitivity and accurate tracking.
- Low-noise power design: low-noise, low-voltage power circuit with switching power supply approach.
